Yo, 

Could you please tell us some of your favorite television shows and movies?  

I ve heard that you like  The Duel .  Are you watching  The Duel 2 ?  

I ve also heard that you love Twilight.  Do you like the books or movies better?  

Have you considered a career move that involves the Twilight Saga movies?

Katee:



I have no idea what  The Duel  is.  So, no, I don t watch  The Duel .  

I don t know what it is. [laughs]

And I love Twilight.  I loved the books,  I loved the movie.  I would love to be in the 

Twilight movies, at the very end.  However, it's not up to me.  

People ask this question all the time  Well, why don t you just do this?   and it's like, 

"well, because um   I can t."  [laughs]  I mean, and... they won t let me audition, or 

they don t think I m right for it, or they've cast somebody else.  

If it was up to me, I d be the new Lara Croft, I d be in Alien and I d be in the end of 

Twilight.  You know, but its not -- its not always up to me.  Maybe they ll surprise me 

and find out how much I m obsessed with the movies and throw me in.

  

Favorite tv shows...  

In our household we watch CNN. [laughs] I know that sounds bad.  

We also watch  Deadliest Catch , I m obsessed with  Two and a Half Men  --  I think it's 

one of the funniest shows on television, I love  The Big Bang Theory  and uh...that s 

pretty much it.  

I did have a little obsession with  The Real Housewives of New Jersey  for like a second, 

until they started to get all trashy and throw tables at each other and then I was like, I 

can t handle this; its like watching a car crash, you couldn t look away.  

That s pretty much what I watch.  I really don t watch a lot of television.

I do watch movies.  

I just watched the pilot for  V  which is one of the best and coolest things I ve seen in 

a long time.  I think everyone is going to really enjoy it.





Dear Katee, 

As a young female physician in training I find I identify with your characters, especially 

Starbuck, so much because I constantly feel the pressure of the razor line I walk on between 

keeping up in the boy's club and my more nurturing nature.  

I was just wondering what advice you have for young women struggling with the same balance.

Katee:



I think one of the biggest traps that women can get themselves into is trying to keep up with 

the boys.  

You re not a boy.  You re a woman.  

So you need to figure out what makes you stronger than a man -- and what makes you stronger 

than a man is that you re a woman.  And not necessarily better, just different and stronger 

in different areas.  

So, you need to embrace the femininity and it usually makes you stronger, because there s a 

strength in admitting that you re a woman and you re proud of it and -- yes, you may not be 

able to do everything that a man does, but either can they do everything that a woman does.  

So, I think that so many times you see women try to act like men and it's, in my opinion, a 

disgusting display of fear and envy and it's kind of gross to see because it's so anti what 

a woman is.  

I think that strength comes in believing in yourself and it comes in knowing and staying true 

to who you are, and being prepared, and embracing your femininity, and I think if you do that 

you become a very strong feminine woman.  

You can t help but become a very strong feminine woman.  It's just, ya know...be a woman first.  

That s what I always tell people.

Have you ever thought of acting in another genre, like drama, western, comedy, etc?

Yeah, of course.  

Ya know, you take the jobs that are -  that come your way, and you read them and if you re 

drawn towards them, you do your best to get them.  

So just because I haven t done one doesn t mean that I don t want to.





Katee, this is serious.  

I have tried Salmon burgers like four times now and I just can t seem to get it right.  

What do you put on yours to make it taste so good?

The key to making a good salmon burger -  are you talking about making a salmon burger or just 

buying a salmon burger?  It's very different.

I find that there s perfect little ratios of everything.  So ya know what I m gonna do;  I will 

actually put MY recipe, at some point, on my website because I fancy myself kind of a foodie.  

So, I will put my recipe up and then after that it's your fault if you eff it up.
